I recently got this game, and I have to say, it's incredibly well done. If you like the Ghostbusters at all, go buy it! It's only $20 for the PC, and well worth it. Both the gameplay and the production are top-notch.

Sounds good. And to think, the game was almost vaporware.
Many say the line between faith and delusion is a thin one. I do not believe it so. It's very broad and fuzzy, like walking through the mist. You won't know you've crossed it until it's to late. |

I did get it when it came out, and was satisfied with it. But it wasn't too special, and the gameplay was really clunky. All the characters and enemies were great, and weapon effects were phenomenal, but scenery was usually drab, and aiming and moving was a hassle that shouldn't be a part of a third-person shooter with ghosts flying all over the damn screen. But I still enjoyed the game.
How about a nice hot cup of Shut the Fuck Up? |

I suck at FPS games, so I didn't have much of an opinion on that. I managed to do fairly well for most of the game on "Casual" difficulty (except for those stone cherubs - I died repeatedly during that part in the graveyard). I don't know if I would call the environments "drab", so much as "realistic". And the areas where the spirit world (or whatever it was) was crossing over certainly didn't seem drab. I thought it achieved a good balance between creepy/spooky and keeping you from getting too lost/disoriented/unsure what to do next. |
